Learn how to create simple designs for sculpture, lampshades or jewelry with parametric software.
Parametric software uses algorithms and advanced computational techniques as a representation tool for design.
– We will examine options for different parametric software and discuss how it works
– Look at examples of 3D printed parametric designs
– Design a lampshade and a bracelet
– Alter and personalize the design parameters
– Check for possible printing flaws using software
– Transfer the designs into 3D printable files
